Global Digital Collaboration 2025
Geneva, Switzerland
04 JUL 2025

Held for the first time in Geneva and hosted by the Swiss Confederation, Global Digital Collaboration 2025 brought together over 2,000 representatives from across the public and private sectors. Co-organised by MOSIP alongside 30+ intergovernmental, standards, and open-source organisations, the 2-day conference marked a significant step forward in advancing collective efforts toward inclusive and interoperable digital IDs and credentials.

Designed to initiate collaboration on topics that require the involvement of multiple actors to be truly impactful, the event featured global updates, real-world use cases, and working sessions focused on wallets, credentials, authentication frameworks, and trusted digital infrastructure.

The MOSIP team – including Ramesh Narayanan (Chief Technology Officer), Sasikumar Ganesan (Head of Engineering), and Gabi Adotevi (Head of West Africa) – contributed to several sessions.

These included a focused discussion on digital ID in Africa, highlighting how DPI can support inclusive transformation across the continent; conversations on digital assets in DPI, showcasing the role of verifiable credentials and attestations in enabling trust and portability; sessions on  inclusive credentialing, where Inji – MOSIP’s Credentialing Stack – and the Claim 169 framework were presented as solutions for offline and low-tech environments. Standardisation was another critical focus, with MOSIP sharing insights on how Claim 169 supports interoperable, QR code-based credential sharing in proximity and offline use cases.

The conversations amongst industry leaders and experts surfaced some of the most relevant discussions and collaborations in the digital ID and DPI space. The agenda, spanning technology, use cases, standards, and inclusion, will continue to inform our work on the MOSIP Identity platform and the Inji Credentials stack. Being part of such meaningful exchanges is of immense value to all of us who are collectively working towards the establishment of a trusted, inclusive, and interoperable digital future.

— Ramesh Narayanan, Chief Technology Officer

The discussions and collaborations initiated in Geneva reflect our shared commitment to ensuring that digital infrastructure evolves in ways that are truly equitable, trustworthy, and human-centric. MOSIP looks forward to continuing to support and shape this collective journey – as a collaborator, co-creator, and global DPI partner.
